Question for anyone with the Optilux 1000 fogs
Lee , I see that you have the optilux 1000 fog lights or anyone with them ....will they fit in the toyota OEM fog location? Do you like them?
I tried a search and came up with nothing..

no, they do not readily fit in the oem spot, and i wouldnt even recommend putting them there. i think theyre just too good looking to stick in the undercarriage like that, but im sure theyd hold up if you did.
i couldnt find a way to put em in the factory spot, but then again, i didnt want to. since i have an sr5 (i see you do too), it comes with absolutely nothing -- no prewiring, no assembly of any kind -- in that spot.
if you have any more questions, just ask

oh, mine was not prewired.. weird.
i didnt try very hard to make it work, but it wont be an easy fit. the lens itself i think is too wide.
i prefer them up high anyway.. its really unique looking.

i use it at night for sure, always.
all they do is help the headlights out.. they dont overpower or anything.. which is what i need. i really never see much fog here, and these are plenty for rain & snow.
