question on altenator wiring install.....
i just had my wireing loom from the altenator to the main wiring loom fry on me (really sucks)
its on a 1980 toyota 4x4 pick up with a 20r engine
the wire loom has a 3 prong green plug that goes into the altenator and then goes up to another black square/rectangle plugto the main wiring loom along the fender
along with the plug there are 3 wire coming off the black square plug.......
where do they go????
i know there are 2 insulated posts on the altenator- maybe 2 go on each of those and the third is maybe a ground???
please help with saying which if any is ground and which color wire goes with the right post on the back of the altenator (i know they are lettered but dont know what letters off hand for the posts on the back of the altenator)
thank you all sooo much for who ever can help,
im new to yoda tech and plan on doing many interesting mods to my little yoda ( the first im doing is installing a stock toyota altimeter pitch angle guage to my dash)
should turn out pretty good i have a new dash pad being shipped to put it on to replace my old crack dash pad
