Question for Dr. Z

or someone else with a detailed knowledge of 4Runners.

Hey Doc. and others. Can you please tell me the size of the center cap for a 96 4Runner on stock 15" wheels. Thanks in advance.

You mean the plastic piece that covers the hub on the 3(6) Spoke wheels? Is that what you mean by the center cap? I don't have a measurement for that, but I bet it's the same as for the 16" wheels as the lug spacing is going to be the same.

More info please.

Well this is what I know so far, I ordered the Tech 1 Black Rockcrawlers from 4wheelparts.com and I got a set of 15x8 wheels with a 6x5.5" lug pattern. These wheels don't come with what they call center caps and I don't know enough to even order thest things that must be essential to the wheel package b/c they come with center caps if you get a tire and wheel package.

Here are the wheels

And here is the page of where I am supposed to order my center caps

Thanks for any help you can provide me with.

Okay, the Lug Spacing used on our trucks is the same as on a Chevy. So you could probably use that info regarding the center caps.

Give them a call and see if they can assist you.

Hope this helps.

You could ask hawkdog21 about his. He owns the Tech21 Black Rockcrawlers.

I wish I had a better answer for you. Sorry dude.

Nah it's all good, I just called them and the guy answered my question in less than a second. Now I guess we have the same set up as the Chevy S10 and the same center cap style as Ford, and Jeep CJ's very nice site planning on their part to not put Toyota up there on the list of trucks with certain style center caps. But who cares now I got my wheels and lugs and centercaps all coming in now. The only thing is that I ordered them all at sperate times and now they are gona all come in a staggered times. LOL
