PS Pump Squeaking?

PS Pump Squeaking?
My PS Pump is leaking and has been leaking for at least 20k - 30k miles. I just keep adding fluid when it needs it. I have a squeak that sounds like it is coming from the PS pump especially when the vehicle is cold.
Is it possible that the PS pump can cause this squeak? I can't afford to get it replaced for a couple more months, can I just keep adding fluid when it needs it? Will the PS pump ultimately fail?
Thanks in advance.

Just yesterday I rebuilt the P/S Pump on my '87. I ordered a seal kit from Oreilly's ($16) and it only took me three hours to remove, break down, build up, reinstall. Follow the instructions here:

Easy.
Also, your alternator located directly beneath your leaking P/S pump will benefit from some attention to the leaks.
edit:I see it's a 3.4...good luck with that.
