probably no help to you, but my remote unlocks all doors the first time.
Do you have the RS3000 unit or a different OEM one, or an aftermarket one, or 3 little elves with horns in your back seat, or what? Below is Bob's write-up on the RS3000 programming/user info. http://www.4runners.org/articles/rs3000/
