PROBLEM: Wire Set Install
Well I was installing some new spark plugs and a new wire set for a 98 4runner V6 and I forgot where each wire goes. I have a number 1, 3, and 5 cylinder wires for the 5vz and I don't know where each wire goes. Can anyone help? I feel stupid forgetting where each wire was suppose to go.
Top Left goes to which cylinder to the right
Middle Left goes to which cylinder to the right
Bottom Left goes to which cylinder to the right
Thanks.

From my experience, the wires all have a specific length. That is, once you snap them into the plastic holders (from passenger to driver side), they can really only lead to the correct plug. If you attach them properly across the top of the timing belt cover, you can loosely extend them along the driver's side bank. It should make send then.

just for reference for anybody that pulls this up in a search, take a digital pic before you change the wires as was stated in another writeup, to make sure you can backtrack just in case

for any one else that has a hard time heres how it go's its very easy the fireing order on the 3.4L is
5 --> 6
3 --> 4
1 --> 2
pretty much the wires go straight across from each other
5 --> 6
3 --> 4
1 --> 2
