Problem with OEM alarm

I have the dealer installed alarm on my 4Runner and recently it has been going off for no reason. I will be sleeping in bed and at 4am i will hear it going off out side my window. It has done it several times and there is nothing that is making it go off. It seems to do it more when the weather changes(when it gets colder). Any advice?

David,

Search my thread on the "RS3000 alarm". You can download it off my website. If I recall correctly, there is a sensitivity switch/dial on it. Adjusting that might be a possible cure.

Hey, i checked the level of sensitivity and it is set rather low. Also it just goes of at random.
