Power steering return hose leak... question

Is the return line on a 4 cylinder Tacoma 2WD the same tubing size (flared fitting) as the V6 models? The question comes from the fact that Toyota charges $123 for the return line, but all I need is the metal line coming out of the rack to the rubber hose (6 inches?). Rather not pay for the entire line, right?

After some looking around, the V6 models offer a replacement metal line (similar to what I need), but I have no idea if the tubing sizes are the same.

Entire return link for my truck: 44420-04020 ($123)
Only the short metal line from V6: 44406-04020 ($60)

I would think if the trucks use the same rack, then the flare fitting should be the same.

Go to www.rockauto.com and compare the part numbers between the 3.4 and 2.4 engines. From what I can see all the replacement racks are the exact same. However there may be a difference between RWD and 4WD. But I doubt it.
