Power loss in 2k rpm band?

Check out the video here guys:

http://www.marko3xl3.com/videos/t4r/0-60-night.MOV

For some reason, I just got bored and wanted to film going from 0-60 (10.4s stock by the way) and I noticed how the tach needle crawls starting at about 2050rpm until 2800rpm when it speeds up again.

Is this a common thing with the 5VZ-FE (3.4L v6) engines?

Thanks,
Marko

Hmm, I don't think that would explain it being only in one piece of the the rpm range, but I am not sure.

3rd gens don't have any variable valve tech and I am using stock cams.
