Red face Power Antenna Mast- how to get to the antenna assembly

Hello,
I have seen many posts on antenna mast installations but haven't found one that details how to get to the antenna motor.

Here is the deal... My antenna broke into the assemly and I am trying to get to the assembly to get it out. Here's what I have done thus far.
1) Remove the nut on the the exterior part of the antenna and have successfully taken out the visible part of the antenna and half of the teethed wire/line.
2) I have unscrewed all the 6 bolts on the fender flare, but am not able to get the flare all the way out. How do I do this?

If there are any picture available, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

I did see that. That doesn't address the details on how to get the darn fender flare out!

I have taken all the 6 screws off, it wouldn't come out. Do I have to really pull hard or do I push it towards the floor? I am afraid to break it.

trim? sr5? limited?

if limited, do an advanced search on member "skyrat" and use the term "flare removal".

Got it!

It is SR5. I finally got it -- had to pull the flare real hard. Apparenttly it has clips that hold the flare tight... in the process I broke 2 of the 4 plastic clips, but oh well. I was able to finally get to the assembly get the broken piece out and put the new mast in.

Since I am a newbee it took me four hours. Thanks Bob and everyone for trying to answer my questions. I appreciate it.
