Power Antenna Mast Broken....

Well after it's abuse in the car wash over a year ago, my mast finally snapped off and broke away completely...

So I am left wondering, where can I buy just a new mast for it?

Also, I remember that some 1st gens have a power antenna switch, was this switch purely to raise and lower the antenna? If so, I would LOVE to incorporate it into my 2nd gen. (That is I want to have the tuner on with the mast down...)

Any ideas for my 2 questions?

I replaced my broken power ant. with a fixed mast antenna like the Tacoma's have. I ordered it from the dealer and it was about $30 I think.

There was a thread on disabling the power antenna about 1-2 weeks ago - when the search function comes back up take a look.

I'm not sure what gen it was on, but basically he installed a switch on the wire that goes to pin 1 of the wiring harness. That wire supplies the drive voltage to the power antenna, so if the switch was open, even though the radio tried to raise the antenna, the motor got no juice and stayed down.
