potentially good ep of pimp my ride

thats right, pimp my ride (Sundays @ 9:30 pm) is actually going to do work on a cool car -- an old landcruiser!

im interested to see what they do with it... though their fast & furious style work on the honda crx they had on the last show was horrendous and terrible... so you just never know.

anyway, consider this an early heads up...

Sounds cool, but they will probably put 24" blings and some orange paint.

The VW bug was the best one yet,
IMO

As for the others, Not really the style of cars we see up here in ND/MN
Thank God!

Except for the paint I thought the bug was pretty nice, and that paints wasn't as bad as some. I even though for trying to make a ricer the CRX look good for a ricer. I've seen some ghetto ricers. I still think ISH should get his own show, my favorite thing about that show is the incredible interior work the do, including all the I.C.E (see I'm hip-hop) If only I could find a good interior shop to, I could handle the A/V stuff.....Oh yeah, and some money.

Yup, gonna watch that episode I liked how in the previews the host was like "check this out, it even has an axe mounted on it"

I just hope they don't lower it

I would rather see Overhaulin or Monster Garage do that one--for some reason I dont think Bisquick or whatever his name is would know how to properly "pimp" a Landcruiser. It will probably have 10 tv's.

Yeah, I saw the preview for the LC episode coming up. I'm worried, and the owner is a female yoga teacher,so you know she doesn't care if they keep it offroad worthy. She'll probably want it to look like a Barbie jeep.

no kiding! that show destroys cars, they spend so much time making the cars "bling" that they dont mention abything aout the enginem just an FYI the crx they worked on last weekend had a stock motor that placed about 109 at crank, so thats more lik 90-95 at the wheels, now add the huge rims and that sucka has one slow ass honda, or how about the civic they put lambo doors on, that engine stock places about 110-115 hp, but they need the "functional" wing to keep traction while turnig or whatever lame ass excuse thay put out, i used the be huge into imports, dont get me wrong i was into the very clean and sleeper style, i was really into the "tuneing" aspect, but watching that show makes me sick . .. . . .

and dont get me started on APC products, they seem to worshup them as awesome car parts and detailing execories, but on the import scene, if your down with the lingo you;d know that APC stands for A P-eice (o) C-rap

Yup, they never mention on the car runs nor do they ever fix up the engine or anything that would really matter to me. The bug episode, however, they did fix up the looks of the engine since it is visable from the outside.

Are you guys crazy? My guess with the Landcruiser is that they will lowers, roll it on dubs, fatty system, TV screens, and a crazy paintjob. There, that's your show!

Well, I dont agree so much with the 24" chrome rims on an off road ride.. I dont mind the paint so much, I guess it sets everyones cars apart from one another.

I know most of you hate the interior lights I have in my car. You gotta think tho, the most off roading I do is on hunting trips. Other than that all I do is drive to work and goto the club. Besides, I love my lights! makes me feel like I'm in a limo, and so far everyone I know seems to like them.

I guess this gives me a chance to see what you guys really think!
I'm never gonna be done with adding stuff on my 4runner, but I thought putting those lights in would set me apart from the others.
Plus, chicks dig bright blue lights!

Well I saw the show tonight--I liked it better before, but I thought they did a good job on the exterior. I liked the bumpers and snorkle. The waterfall center console and bamboo back were a little much.

i was wondering how that lady scored that thing for only 200 bucks. I didnt think that thing was in too bad of a condition before they redid it. I didnt like the yellow paint, the soft top, the interior, and those 18 inch wheels. But i think it would be a pretty good chick car.

i like the yellow -- but the ghetto colors have got to go... For some reason older cars look okay in funky colors... Dunno why. Maybe its because we expect something from the 70's to be in a weird color? hmm.. gotta think about that one.

I liked it before and after, I liked the x-terrains to begin with but the bfg's were ok. Snorkel and new front bumper where good, water fountain and yoga ˟˟˟˟ was worthless. Should have kept the hard top.

I was suprised they kept it an off-road vehicle.. I thought they would make it a street only LC.

I liked the tires and wheels, I thought they looked good with the yellow paint. Both the before and after versions were pretty cool in their own ways.
