Post your final results of 4th Gen lift and tires

I didn't want to create another thread on the topic, but I notice the questions get asked at various places.

Post your final total lift front and back once everything has settled in nicely (couple hunderd miles and some trail work seems to do it). Also post the difference in trail capability, gas mileage, noise, handling, etc.

OK, as for me I did a Daystar lift 2.5" front and 2" back, and changed up to Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos 265/70/17.

Before: (Ground to fender using center of wheel as line)
Front 33.5" Back 35.7"

After Daystar lift
Front 36" Back 37.5" (settled quickly to 37.25")

Revos added about 0.5"
Front 36.5" Back 37.75"

After more than 600 miles, tightning of bolts and some good trail work:
Front 36.2" Back 37.25"

SO I would say the tires added 0.4" and the lift once sttled and worked in added: Front 2.3" Rear 1.2"

Trail capability probably went up 40%, it just seems to do things so much easier adn with less worries.

Gas mileage around town it seems I have lost about 1MPG, highway at 80 MPH I have lost around 2MPG (yes I correct ODO error with GPS and calculated by hand). So now I get 13-15 MPG in town and 18-19 MPG on highway and about 16-17MPG on my average driving.

Road noise have gone up slightly, both the lift and the tires added some (Had Dunlop AT20 before). It is still very good for a SUV, still better than most, but it is noisier when driving on the highway.

I have noticed very little difference in performance and handling. Did not measure but in the one area close by from standstill to a certain pole I got to just a hair over 70MPH standard (GPS), now doing exactly it is just below 70MPH (GPS) total difference probably 1MPH which is nothing. On handling speedbump are actually a little softer in the front, but going around corner feels almost the same, only the 270 degree highway offramp it feels to drift a bit more.

So in short if you plan to take the Runner offroad and do some exploring, this is 2 thumbs up. If it remains a pavement puppy save your money for some new toys.
