they hold up great. My limited 5 spoke rims are powder coated (about $200) and I love them. My Tundra split 5 spoke wheels are rattle canned black and it came out really nice (if you do it right) and cost is about $15 for paint and sand paper and so far is holding up well to washing and normal driving.

I paid $200 for those limited 4runner wheels (somebody else paid to powder coat them, their loss not mine) and I paid $120 for the Tundra split spoke wheels and then painted them (still looking for inexpensive caps). These are my absolute favorite Toyota factory wheels and I love them more than any customs I could bUy for $200 per wheel.

You got a great deal for those limited wheels! Im a little jealous haha my friend just got pro comps on his 07 tacoma and i love them..heres a pic:
