Today the steam has gotten worse the ideling just gos up and down and up and down and smells of anti freeze really bad. It shakes really bad upon cold start-up (I live in Wisconsin) anybody have any ideas? I should would appreaciate anyones input. Thanks

Check your oil. If it looks like chocolate milk, then you definitly are mixing oil and water.
What motor is in your truck? If it is the 3.0 has the Head Gasket ever been changed under the Toyota campain?

I had no signs mine needed a head gasket replacement until I looked under the valve cover and saw 'yuck'. Other than my vehicle was losing coolant, no signs existed. One determining factor was when I did a leak down test. That was a guarentee that my gasket was shot. Since I replaced the head gasket, all is well now. G/L.

Sounds like a blown head gasket. Take the oil filler cap off and look under the cap. See if it's chocolate. Also look at the coolant in the radaitor to see what it looks like. Have you been adding coolant?
