You probably read it as 305/70/16. But neither are 33.1". They are 32.8 inches.

I run 285/75/16's, but Im sure if I cranked up the front completely I could run some 305/75/16's fairly easily. Still have an inch or 2 left in my coil overs.

BFG's site says 305's are 33.1....

I would not suggest running 305s. There is a guy on this board and he's in 4ROC NC that is running 305 BFG MTs. I met him at our 4ROC run in Uwharrie. He had to take his LTD flares off in the front and do alot of inside fender work BFH style to get them to stop rubbing off-road.
His name is Hyperlite if you wanna try and find him, his rig is really really sweet and he's a good guy, he helped me seal up my inner CV on the trail, after it blew completly off the axel. So I'm sure he would help if you needed some instruction. It's a really tight fit but it can be done, if you don't mind a bit of rub and some pounding out of the fenders. Good luck.

His was nothing bus suspension, I'm sure a BL would have fixed the rubbing, but I'm sure he's on the page alot of ppl are, that any BL over 1.5" is just too much and asking for problems when things get hairy, (ie. axel wrap) I know it's do able, but it just requires a little more work than most think. I really would like to run 305s but for those reasons I don't want to. And aside from all that, I'm looking into and 85's Toy so I can run 35s and still have plenety of room to fleeeeeeeeeeex.

As far as I know, axle wrap is only a problem on trucks with leaf springs. Trucks with links, like 4runners, cannot have axle wrap (unless something breaks). Even then, I don't see how a BL can cause more axle wrap, the axle doesn't know the body has a lift.

35s??
I've been running 35's for a while now with my stock gears 4.10s and 2.7L and i don't have prob. its slow but not bad, i still can go 80mph on the xpressway.
