plow on 95 taco
ive been thinking of putting a plow on my 1995 tacoma but wasnt sure what i should do? how big can i go? id love to put an 8ft plow but realize that isnt reasonable as far as weight on the front end. maybe a 7ft? how have you guys mounted them? id like to have as much ground clearance as possible when the plow is off. my truck has a 3in body lift and 2in suspension in the front with stock rear suspension (soon to have the timbren over load kit upgrade) whats everyones opinion? i was going to put my dads old western 8ft plow on it for the driveway but now its going to be my daily driver again so i want something more modern (not buying now maybe in the spring when theyre cheap). any ideas input is welcome. i was thinking the meyers style where the pump is on the pipe that comes off in the summer, ive seen pretty awesome bull bars that mount right to that.

You live in Western NY in your neck of the Woods Snow Flurries is anything under a foot of Snow.
Now if this was a Farm Truck that would never see the street I would say Have at it.
The kind with at least 4 different color body parts.
Lifted Trucks suck at plowing Snow for what ever reason the change in Center of Gravity changes things .
Now if you were plowing a flat driveway with 3" to 6" I say sure.a few times a winter.
Cut your Fathers plow down to 80" if your going to do this .Save your self some money.
I would not put a plow on my Tacoma If you want to do one on yours by all means have at it.
