Playstation2 Install
I'm installing a ps2 stystem in my '99 4runner and wondering if there's a good place to install it. Right now, the best place that I've found was underneath the passenger seat with the tray facing outward towards the rearseat I can't shove it all the way in, cuz there's a fan sticking out.) I don't think it'll fit facing outward because of the fan. Underneath the driver seat is my cd changer, so that won't do. It'll be used with my XAV-7W Sony monitor. I need to have it somewhere where the ps2 remote can be utilized. I don't think it'll reach all the way in the back if I install it there and I don't want to have the rear seats down. :pat: Any input appreciated.

Ether under the seat or in the glove box. If you do the glovebox it will be nice and clean but you will need to make some kind of enclosure to keep it in place.

if your deck has an aux out put you can hook it up there and the sound will come out on your speakers.

haha, thanks for all the input. Glove idea's interesting- gotta look into that.
There's a lot of crap inside the box, so that could be messy, if I were to take things out of it. So therefore, I'll have to duct tape it to the passenger seat hehe
doink: yes, you'll hear sound from your speaker. All ps2 connection is through a regular RCA cable that will be connected to an Auxillary output on the monitor. I'll keep you all posted when I get my darn parts that I've ordered: Monitor and TV Turner, 10 disc CD/MP3 changer. These will replace my current Kenwood/pioneer setup.
