Plastic Trough for Fuel Inj Wiring. 3vze
There is a Plastic Trough that the Fuel injector wires go through on both sides of the engine on top of the Intake Manifold.
These have completely went to crap on my 3vze. I went to the Stealer and he tried to tell me that these two parts are actually part of the Wiring Harness.
Has anyone here ever bought these two cheap plastic parts separately??
They went to crap so completely that this must be a common problem on all 4runners.

I had a similiar problem when I replaced my valve cover gaskets. I had to unbolt the wiring harness from the valve covers, and 3 of the 4 plastic bolt holes of the harness disintegrated. The dealership also mentioned that they could only sell me a complete wiring harness, as the plastic housing wasn't available seperately.
I was too cheap to buy a new harness, so I repaired the damaged one with pieces of aluminum stock, attached to the plastic with high temp epoxy. I'm not sure how bad your plastic housing is now, but you might want to try a similiar repair.
Good luck!
