Plastic Honeycomb?
Does anybody know where to get plastic honeycomb that is 1"-2" thick? I am thinking about making a new grill out of it.

You can try dealers or junkyards for GM truck grills or dealerships for grilles you like.
They used to make commercial floresc. lighting covers out of white plastic honeycomb about the right scale but now it's mostly converted to those translusc. plastic sheets.
Check sound control wall board vendors or commercial grade filter covers.
If you were in the san fern valley, you could drive around Burbank and come up with something I bet.
Google it, I can't think of anything else...

I have about 10 3' by 6' sheets of flourescent light diffuser, it is slightly more than an inch thick and could be painted easily (honeycomb shaped). How could you make it into a grill though, it dosen't bend much, just brakes.
