Places for off-road adventure in Arkansas??

Hey guys,

Me and my wife are going for a vacation in Arkansas, but I'm not really sure yet. I'm looking for a central location that would have some good hiking, mountain biking, trail running, canoeing, rafting, off-roading, and dirt-biking available within a 1 hour radius of where we would stay. Does anyone know of such a place? We want to camp. Does such a place exist in Arkansas?

i'm from southwest MO and a great area around the southern part of missouri and the northern part of arkansas is around the white river in the ozark mountains. The army dammed up the river into five lakes and its pretty nice around there. check out places like around table rock lake and bull shoals lake. Its beautiful down there, and you shouldn't have a problem finding stuff to do. If you want more info for the area let me know and I can get you all kinds of stuff.

I second NWA. I live up here. Plenty of out-doors stuff to do. Devil's den cave if you don't mind getting dirty and like exploring caves, quite a few rivers around here that you can float, and lots of national forest for camping and things such as this.

Thanks guys! I know nothing about the State and the more information I can get, the better. I'll be doing my research, but it's always great to cut right to the chase. Thanks and I look forward to everyone's responses.
