pics of your 3rd gen. with 285/75/16 tires?

I was wondering if some of you with a suspension lift and 285/75/16 tires on thier 3rd gen. could post some pics of your 4runners? It is almost time for a set of tires and I would like to get some lift coils and 285's. So if you guys don't mind, show me what you've got

Do they make michelin LTXs in a 285 size?
Where could I get them cheapest (my 265s came from Costco) ?

I don't do as much off road but I like the look of the larger tires.
My Michelin LTX have been so good but I just want em in a bigger size.

chris - do you rub at all with only the 1" BL?

i have the 1" BL installed already and my 285's sitting in my freaking garage while i wait for the 2" front spaces to be made . . . trying to be patient, but i'm going to go insane soon if i have to keep looking at those sweet tires in the garage and not on my truck! i've got the shocks and the rear spacers ready to go . . . . just waiting on the front.

Paul H.

Thanks! I did win the World of Wheels for best in my class in January here in Phoenix. It was alot of fun being able to showcase my hard work and show people what you can do with a 4 Runner.

I really appreciate it, but it's far from being finished. Michelin doesn't make a 285 size, but if you want a great all-around tire, get the Revo's. They are pretty freakin' on and off-road.

Nope! No rubbing at all, even at full stuff with the wheels turned lock to lock! I love it, but I had to do some slight fender trimming, and some hammering in of the metal up in the wheel well. If you want to read the thread I started on the fender trimming or my complete lift process go to:

Fender Trimming: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...ender+trimming

Lift Install Process: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...ender+trimming

Yeah, Creed, I've got my spacers, and now I'm just waiting on my OME firm shocks. Check out those threads if you want to see the whole process of what it has taken me to get things in line for the lift. Lots of pictures too!

Chris

Paul, our trucks are too totally different animals. You're truck is beautiful, and mine looks like crap up close. My paint is so scratched from the last wheeling trip I did, it's unbelievable! I don't really care about it, but boy does my wife!!

I think the black 4runners with the hood scoop look the best hands down. Awesome ride man!
