And a few pics from wheelin' the next day. See the above link for full size images.

Never disconnect the top of an endlink and not the bottom. I couldn't get the pin out of the bottom of the disco and I was so excited to be wheeling with my new setup, I left it like that. This is what happens:

Yee haw you finally got it up. There may be some guys going out this weekend to 360 if you're open. I'll be driving my truck home tomorrow. I can't wait. I also got my suspension done too. Hope to see you this weekend. I'll bring a jack and some fix-a-flat this time.

Just a word of advice...

avoid using Fix-a-Flat if possible. That stuff is terrible and can eat up the inside of your tires. Not to mention, your tire will be out of balance, and it is a pain to get all cleaned up.

It was a joke. You should have seen his tire. Fix a flat would have done nothing. He had to get the entire umm uhh tire replaced.

I wholeheartedly with the above statement. Fix-a-flat = horrible

Yeah I was gonna say, he must not be able hit very big bumps with those tires stuffed under that thing.

Just cut off the top bolt from the rod end, drill out the rod end and put in another carriage bolt and you should be good to go. I'd also back off that bolt next to the rod end so you can more easily pull the latch pin next time! Quick discos aren't worth much if they aren't quick and you don't use them! Luckily you didn't tear up a CV with that bent bolt.

Looks good!

I removed the endlink right then. It was much easier to whack the pin out with the wheel off. Only the threaded rod and stainless sleeve were bent. I unscrewed the heim and the nuts from it and replaced the rod.

Blake, glad to hear your truck is functional again. What happened with the engine? I don't know if I can make it out this weekend. I've got finals this week and next and have been really busy at work, hence the delay in posting. I'll let you know closer to time.

Correct me if im wrong but i think thats a 2 inch body lift with 33-12.50's. If thats the case than i have seen this set up on a few runners around town and it seems to work . Dont quote me though as i have never actually driven one. Cant imagine it does much for off road but for tooling around town i suppose it makes for a statement.
