...and NO...it's not what your dirty minds were thinking. I just added a 7" wide screen for the front seat passenger to go with the (2) headrest monitors I have for the rear. I didn't want an in-dash since I have such a good high-end Pioneer head unit.
Once I finish my header install, i'll be calling on Ralph (PhxTRDRunner) for replacements for the headrest monitors. The ones I have now are alittle smaller than what Ralph can get for me and mine have always given me problems. They were cheap and shut down after about an hour of using them. Not good when you have kids on a 6 hour drive. The system has a DVD player, TV tuner and playstation input. Now all I need is a driver for the long trips so I can enjoy all this sh**

Boy that's a nice truck and addition as well.
I'd love to see your 4RUNNER personally.
By the way, where is your 4 wheel drive shifter?

Hey what kind of a deal can phxTRD get on monitors? Or would you be interested in selling those? I know you already said they are crap, but I don't think I'd use them that much, I just want one (or two maybe) for my pickup's dash to bling it out for competitions....

...it's still in Japan. I'm 2wd....shhhh...don't tell anyone
I mostly show my truck and do very light off-road (couple times a year) so I didn't go for 4wd.

I believe Ralph was around $160 + a piece for xo vision 5.6" screens. Mine are Nesa 5". Once I switch them out i'll let them go very cheap. I bought them for shows but after making a couple long road trips, I found out I better get better screens.

XO Vision? Never heard of them...
I am upgrading my headunit (I've had this one in the truck for almost 4 months, yikes!) to a newer Panasonic Premier or possibly Eclipse, and want to get a 5 or 7" screen as well. I kind of like these in-dash 7" motorized ones...they were like $230 last time I checked. Supposedly good screens though. I wish I still had that link hehe

Nice job Paul. Hope everything goes well with the headers and the lcd's. Ur 4runner is definitly one of the best/cleanest ones I've seen. Hopefully one day I'll have enough $$ to dish out for a entire entertainment system
Btw did you ever get that pinging problem fixed?

The ping is still there. I'll be trying the octane boost next since the gas here stinks.
Thanks for the compliments. I made sure that the monitor didn't interfere with the glove box, air vent or air bag. It looks like it in the pics but it doesn't. It plays very well. Here is a link to the gooseneck mount I'm using:
