Pics of the 4runner

So i got a new camera today for a graduation present
yay
anyway im bored so i decided to go take pics of my dads 4runner, which im using till we get the engines swapped in my 91
anyway
its a 99 2wd, Progressive rate springs in the back.
leather 2.7 5spd.
Base model

That's one BURLY brush guard . Nice looking 'Runner though, I like the wheels painted (they are painted, right?)

They look like aluminum wheels to me...prob just dirty with brake dust

yay for another 2.7 5speed runner. too bad it isnt 4wd, but hey you can always convert.

I'd remove the bra since it's just doing a number on the paint plus it doesn't look like it's very easily removed with the brush guard on it.

That chrome wheel trim looks bigger than stock too, kinda different.

Also find some taillight guards that are for a 4Runner.

actually i have noticed that too.
but I like it
i think sooner or later i might get this beast, i just wish it was 4wd. Pops got a yaris last year, then i totalled my 86 p/u. got a 91 that turned out to be more trouble then 3400 was worth.
but oh well.
so if that happens, deff getting rid of the poser gear.

yea maybe you can get that 4runner, mine is 2WD to but it dosent mean it still can't go some places!

Okay, if you get it.... PRERUNNER 4RUNNER! I have always wanted to see a nice one.... always the tacoma's and tundras, rep a 4runner for us

long travel suspension (obviously) and s/c it for the power, some nice a/t's and of course some nice armor for the front, I have been thinking of this for a while... but the extra 400-500 lbs the 4wd adds really kills a prerunner idea for me...

Ahh, i was actually looking at a S/C for this thing for a while.
I would totally rock that shizz
nice off road bumper.
hmmm.
Oh, And your right about the extra weight, i would get a locker for the rear as well as the above mentioned, it would prolly go about as far as an open 4x4.
Give it some time guys.
