pickup rear window latch?
Hey Guys, Tried searching and didnt come with anything usefull. I have a friend who has an 89 ex. cab toy pickup. The plastic latch that keeps one of his rear windows broke, and as a result his window is open all the time, and waves at people as he goes down the highway. Tons of fun.
Anywho, what I am wondering is what it will take to fix this. I cant see a way to remove the piece that is attached to the glass itself, not sure if the little metal pin slides out but it looks like it is in there good enough that i might break it worse trying to get it out. I imagine it is pretty straightforward to remove the rest of the latch (remove the plastic panel and unbolt the sucker would make sense?) Anybody have any insight on replacing one of these?
Thanks Guys (and gals)

You might check and see what the replacement part looks like from the dealer. The parts guys will probably let you look at their diagrams and answer questions if it's not clear. That might give you an idea about where it's best to try and take it off.
