I decided to repost this on my server for anyone who is having trouble...

The problem was that the format of the URL to the webshots link conflicts with some coding in the VB system and unless you went to that site before (to have the picture cached), the pic wouldn't work on this page.

Question:

What do you mean by "color-match"? Aren't they color-matched already? Also, which color would you tint them if you wanted to?

Just a warning, in case you didn't know...some of these mods you are planning to do might be illegal in your state...just a heads up

thanks man, if i did black them out it would still be kinda transparent so not totally illegal. I live next door to one of our head cops in missoula and hes really chill and answers all my questions. he says as long as they still emit enough light to be seen two blocks away at night then they are fine. by color matched i mean where they spray them with a special paint mixture that matches the car but can still shine through. it either looks really really nice or crappy.

Here's a better shoped dark tint:

You'd have to do a plate clover too.

My vote would actually be for clear lenses.
I didn't actually want to spend the time to do it right so here is down and dirty.. Colour matching the runner would be neat too.

While this is a straight on shot, the sun makes this wicked hard to work. Next time, try a photo with the sun behind you so one side is not darker than the other.

I like your dark tint nermalgod, but I was going more for a very dark look and I left some of the old lights visible like you were looking at them from real close. Got inspired by the blacked out dodge next door.

Here is a version of a "silvery" look which matches your truck somewhat nicely IMO:

EDIT: Maybe a lighter shade? You tell me

sick work bro i love the dude on the back. might have to be my avatar. when we did the whole colr matched deal we were gonna do the bumpers but opted not to due to a)cost b)amount of work required and c) after looking over nad over at my 4runner and others of the same color with full matched kits i kinda like the chrome on the grill. the truck looks a ton different now from the jaos wing to another layer of limo tint and a different sticker set up (still need to shave off the fake limited badges). clear lenses are out due to the laws here (wayy wayy to many ricers with them constantly getting pulled over according to the local feds). the body shop that will do the work has a dela where they apply 3m clear bra stuff over the lights and spray them till i find the exact amount of coats i want for 40 bucks on top of the 100 it will cost. i might just have them do that and if i dont like the way any of it looks i will just get them tinited black and leave the back up light at a lighter tint. thanks for the help guys
