part number -- backlight bulbs for ECT /Defrost and Rear Window Up/Down buttons
I would like to replace the two backlight bulbs in the top row of the center console for the "Defrost" "ECT" and "Rear Window Up/Down" buttons. When I turn on the interior lights there is no backlighting for those buttons.
Any one knows the part number for the two bulbs?
Thanks!

well, i have a 99 limited. I dunno about other years since they did a few dash changes from 99+ it could be different. I have not changed them but I put LED's in my digital climate control and when I had everything apart I took a look at the "Defrost" "ECT" and "Rear Window Up/Down" backlighting and they were removable Neo-Wedge Type A's It doesnt take much to pop out the dash and take a look at them, maybe 5 minutes. I suggest you try that before you take my word on it. There is a post on this forum that talks about LED backlighting and discusses what type of bulbs go where and in what year. Take a look at that too >> https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/g...ghting-117226/
oh and by the way, never buy bulbs from the dealer Well, unless you own a Porsche or Ferrari.. I'd be too scared to take anything apart on one of those haha

stir-fry-boy: You might want to take apart the dash of your '02 and take a look. But JWaldz is right about the 99 4R. I removed the dash of my 99 today. There are two neo wedge type A bulbs (also called T3). They are available at several online LED shops as indicated in the link that JWalds provided above. But the shipping kills it.
Quickly checked on eBay and ordered 4pcs (2 orders) from here for about $6:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=200411825154
I only needed 2, one for the defrost/ect, and the other for the rear window up/down button, but ordered 2 extra for spare.
Already received an email from seller saying my order has been shipped. I will report back after I recieve and install them.
Thanks again, JWalds.
