Packing front wheel bearings?
I just began replacing my front discs and went to pack the wheel bearings but this will be the first time ive done this on this truck. I removed the hub and assembly and got down to where the bearing would be but cannot manage to pull the rest of the assembly off..... its like there's something holding it on there and i didnt want to use a puller in fear of messing something up.
any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't think you can repack them. They are a sealed bearing arn't they? They have to be pressed in and out.

I just replaced mine tonight on my 89. It is a cone bearing inner and outer. Each one has it's own bearing race. The bearings should come out ok, but the bearing races may have to be pressed out or the good ol' fashion way with a bfh (big f'in hammer)!Mine were worn but the races were in great shape so I just replaced the bearings, and repacked them.
