P0127 CEL issues, resolved!
so I went wheeling at pismo this last weekend (note that my truck has had some minor idling issues recently) and as soon as I leave pismo, the check engine light comes on. great.. so I go to autozone, get their reader, and pull a P0127 code: "system running too lean".
Long story short, yotatech comes to the rescue again. After searching around, I found that the most likely solution is that the MAF is dirty. I pull it out, and it's literally COVERED in crap. So I cleaned it off with some q-tips and hydrogen peroxide (which worked great!), stuck it back in, and now the engine runs like new.. not even the idling problems it had before. yay!
so yea.. thanks guys

Glad you got yours all straightened out!
I just read this article on 4x4wire and thought others might like to read on OBD II diagnosis:
http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/4Runner/tech/OBDII_ECU/
It is not new so some may have seen it already....I thought it was quite helpful anyway.
