Oversize valves?

I have an 87' 4x4 Pickup with a 22REC with 300k miles, that blew a head gasket. When it was still owned by the company I work for my boss had a new head put on it but when he did it he decided to used the old valves with new valves guides. So it's been burning oil.
Anyways, since I'm going to have the head off anyways I decided to redo the valves.

I'd like to go with 1mm oversized valves from LC Engineering, new valve guides, dual springs, new oil seals basically everything except a new cam and rocker arms.

I'm going to have the head shaved but do I need to have any other machineing done to the head to install the new hardware?

Also, I was quoted $275.48 for the guides, springs, keepers, shims, viton seals and retainers and $74 for the valves and seats. Is this a reasonable price? Seems a little steep to me. I don't mind paying extra for quality parts but I just don't know how much it should cost.
