I'm no expert but I would guess that the 3-piece has detachable headlight guards and that the 1-piece is just one solid brushguard.
If it was me I'd probably get the 3-piece, it would just allow you to do more things with it. Either have just the grill guard on or the headlight guards on as well.
Just my pennies...

I'm going to say this before everyone else does and tell you not to get one. I have one and wish I had went with an ARB bumper.
The price would not have been that much more. I lost my tow hook with the one (Go Rhino) I have and it has also reduced my front end ground clearnace. It also shakes some, but not that bad. Plus, mine weighs 70 pounds not including the weight of the bumper. An ARB would be lighter since it is about 75 pounds.
Overall though, it looks pretty good, especially with the Hella driving lights I have mounted on it.
If mine would fit yours, I would give you a good deal on it.
Please don't take this post the wrong way. If you want a brush guard, go for it. I just don't want you to have the regrets I do.

Yeah...I forgot to clarify this, if I WERE to get a brush guard then yes I would get the 3-piece but as Nic pointed out the ARB would be a MUCH better approach and a better deal overall for the amount of money you'll end up spending.
