AW1090

Hey, got in my truck yesterday and sure enough my driver's side rear window went down, but was hell to get back up. I'm assuming it is the motor going out. I wanted to ask you guys if it has to be replaced with that specific door motor or can I use one from say a 92 4runner passenger door? I found this one on ebay and if you guys can tell me if it'll work then I'll pick it up. Thanks

i can't see why it wouldn't work.. i think the only thing they changed was the grill styling and the light above the rear window from 90-91, to 92-95.. but, you sure its the motor? haven't ripped my door apart yet, but I know in the tailgate I thought the motor was fried when all the gears needed were grease (ALOT of rubbing and rust)

I'll have to check...it'd be nice if that was all it is. I just thought for a couple of bucks I could pick up that motor and be covered no matter what. Do you see how that motor and regulator are for the pass. side....well, I need it for the driver's side rear....do you think that the motor will work for me? I know the regulator won't, but I thought I could just use the motor and switch it out. Thanks for the quick reply

oops, didn't see that you were looking at different doors.. i honestly dont know for sure if it will, but the motors visually look the same.
