one last note on 3rd gen alignment woes

My buddy has a 2001 decked out garage queen runner.

Anyhoo........he had his pretty in the local phx Toyota dealer 6,000 gentle road miles ago for a front alignment.
Well, we were out this weekend when he heard loud noises coming from the front end.
He neglected to mention the front end pulling as well.
A quick look and one of the alignment nuts came loose and fell off the bolt leaving the bolt sliding back and forth .
Luckily, the bolt hit the skid plate before exiting the lower control arm.

I wired the bolt in place to stop the sliding but the tech either left the bolt loose or just not tight enough.
I'd guess loose because the truck sees little rough terrain to warrant it coming loose.

something to check when you get your runner back. Kenny
