One last exhaust question

Well I about cut my fm off a few weeks ago because it would change it was sounding like . But then it decided to sound good for a while but now its back to having a ty sound so I'm over it.
The last question I have ever about a muffler is, will a 24" magnaflow sound ricey. Thats the last question, I promise

i have the 18'' magnaflow its deep real smooth dont sound ricey at all is that possible with a v6 ?

Mine does at certain rpms, it has the droning pissed off bumble bee sound to it from 1500-2500 rpm when the motor has load on it. At idle and WOT it sounds great though. I keep putting off getting a resonator installed, but I've honestly gotten used to it and learned to cruise so it doesn't drone as much (select higher gear, less throttle). A shorter magnaflow will give you a more distinct and powerful rumble but the 24" drones quite a bit by itself IMHO.
