Why won't Toyota put an automatic light under the hood? Or better yet, two lights. It frustrates me that Toyota won't make this $5 accessory as a standard or optional equipment. Almost all American cars have this feature, which is very handy and downright a necessity. I know, carry a flashlight at all times, but this is a basic safety feature.

Its because they are so dependable, you should never need a light there. If it was an American made car, you will always be under there trying to figure out whats wrong.
