Can the OME shocks be run with stock springs until I can afford to buy the springs and trims? http://www.rocky-road.com/ sells the OME “kit” for 635.00 but I can get the shocks only for about 349.22. I do not want to damage the shocks by running springs that are too short. It would be quite a bit easier on my budget to do this in stages. I was thinking that I could get the shocks now and the springs and ARB bumper later. I could just save up and do it all at once but I really need shocks now and I was planning on tires real soon as well.
Has anyone else done this?

$350? Woah... check out http://www.xtremeoff-road.com
before you buy from them... They have OME shocks for the 4runner for $65 each, save yourself about 100 bux... I can't seem to find them right now (think they re-did their catalog), but just email them (mike), and he'll hook you up.
