I recently ordered the OME 881/906 combo from trdparts4u.com thanks Gerone. I thought I would post some pictures of it on my 02 Sport Edition.

wow that looks great. i'm interested in the same set up for mine. did you get new shocks or are you still running your factory ones?

i figured you would have more rake since according to the site you have a half inch more in the front then back

I think the lift heights are all a little off. Some people notice a rake, and others get a squat. Mine are sitting pretty much level front/rear.

I wish my 4Runner were green - I love that color. It looks really good.

p.s. Sloan, I suggest you look into the OME comfort shocks if you get their springs. The springs are stiffer than stock, so you might want a comfy shock with them.

Here are my before and after measurements

Before -> After
Front Left: 33 7/8 -> 36 7/8 = 3"
Front Right: 34 1/4 -> 37 1/8 = 2 7/8"
Rear Left: 34 1/4 -> 37 1/8 = 2 7/8"
Rear Right: 34 1/2 -> 37 1/4 = 2 3/4"

yea i was just asking since i have a 2WDer and already sit a little lower in the front and just want a bigger, more level ride.

are the comfort shocks similar to the ride of the stock ones?

My understanding is that if you pair the OME springs with the OME (comfort) shocks, it will ride comparably to stock (probably better). I have OME springs with stock shocks, and it's a little stiff for my liking. Stock springs with OME shocks would probably give you a spongy ride (just for comparison). If anyone knows better, please correct me.

on the website you ordered it from says to order 2 of the shocks (they are sold individually). so does that mean they only go on the front or back? i figured i would need to order 4 and not just 2.

Here is the parts list for this lift...

(1) OME 881 (Front Springs) come in a pair
(1) OME 906 (Rear Springs) come in a pair
(2) OME N91SC (Front Shocks) sold individually
(2) OME N86C (Rear Shocks) sold individually

That is the same exact setup I am getting. That is one sweet looking rig you go there. I am guessing you didn't need anyother parts right, such as diff drop and such??? Thanks.

The only other parts I got were the poly rack bushings and swaybar bushing. I didnt do the tdiff drop from what I have read it is not needed with this lift.

MPG loss....Yes. I was getting about 20-21mpg and it dropped to 17 my first full tank. I am adjusting my driving style and getting better now. I am waiting on my scangauge 2 to come and I will see if I can improve it any more.

I had the exact same results. After driving for a while with the new tires, I've gotten 20mpg at best (highway), and 17.5 (all city) on my last tank, taking it really easy on the skinny pedal. I always seem to be in a hurry while driving my wife's car though.

thats still not that bad. its probably better then getting the 265s over 285s to.

If it's not too much trouble could you post the distance measured from fender lip down to the center of centercap front and rear?
