OME 880/906 with Std. Bilstein 5100's

So after reviewing a lot of different solutions to make my 4runner ride better I've decided to give the following option a try.

2 ea P/N 24-249966 5100 series rear shocks
2 ea P/N 24-248730 5100 series adjustable front shocks

OME 880's for the front and 906 for the rear

I've read various opinions about this solution and would appreciate some input from folks who have done it. I haven't actually done the installation yet (shop is super busy) but appreciate input on what to expect ride wise. Current suspension is 99 tall with KYB mono max all the way around.

Thanks for the link.

One other question: After taking a closer look at 880's I noticed that one isn't taller than another? OEM coils are color coded so you know which one goes on the driver side. OME seems to address this by having a taller rear coil for the driver side or gas tank side. Sounds logical unless you're only replacing the front coils. I bring this up because many folks have done the tundra upgrade and Speedy's garage has done a very detailed youtube video but didn't address the taller rear coil? Any input would be appreciated.

It may just be hard to tell. OME 880's are about 14.37" long and the 881's 14.76. Just over a third of an inch. Also, small differences in length mean significant differences in lift. The expected amount after settling with an 880 is 1" and an 881 is just barely over 1.6".

So I finally got everything installed and have to say that the truck handling has improved considerable. On a side note if you decide to go this route make sure to use the lowest setting on the adjustable front shocks. We went with the second one and had reverse rake and had to redo the front.
