Old Man Emu + ARB + ride height pics
This is the old man emu springs and shocks. 881 springs up front, 890s in back. Arb bar is the prado model. Procomp muds are 285/75/r16 Siped with stud holes. Nearly rubs the control arm at full droop, almost an inch of clearance on level ground.

And yes, another sexy Runner out there, I've always been a fan of the darker colors! Was debating the PRADO bar vs. the Taco I have the Sr5 flares so I'm not sure what fits best. Looks great, congrats!

i knew that the prado bar was wider, but i have the so called "limited flares" on my sr5 and the taco bar is only abt .75" narrower than the flares. i was actually thinking of having my buddy fab up some custom flares for it.
jdizzy, go with the taco bar, otherwise the prado bar will stick out way far and look goofy

Because the taco bar comes airbag approved and the prado bar is not. The mounting brackets are much stronger than the rippled accordian style brackets that come with the taco bar but are still designed to bend before the frame does. I'd imagine a 10mph impact could bend the taco bar mounts, I don't want to know how fast you'd have to go to bend the prado bar mounts. Besides I don't want an airbag breaking my nose if I run into something too fast.

ARB is only 30mins away...but the Taco bar for asthetics is probably gonna be my route, ARB was designed for impact either way--I'll trust in that. Couldn't get the skinny on the camera phone pics. Thanks though guys

For everyone's benefit, lets compare how far my prado bar sticks out compared to the taco bar. I'll snap some pics of mine with a tape measure. It'd be great if you could post similar pics or at least give your measurement versus mine. Would you be willing to do this? I'll post my pics this weekend.

the prado bar doesnt stick out that much further, maybe an inch at the most. the most noticable difference of course is in the width of both the bumper itself as well as the hoop. oh..and the prado's have the warn W cutout, most taco bars ive seen dont have this...
here you can see under the front flares, the gap between the wing and the body. there are filler pieces available, but i didnt bother. the prado bar is actually maybe half an inch wider than the limited/sport flares, but lined up correctly, and its a perfect match.
not the greatest comparison pic, but you get the jist of it. taco bar is 68", prado is 72" my buddy with the beige runner has flares on it, but not as wide as the limited/sport ones.
and another comparison pic...with 2 LTD's. the green one is 97Limited's off this board:
not much difference...IMO they both look good. only combo that looks out of place is a non flared (meaning NOTHING..no silver trim, no SR5 flare...just fender) runner with a prado bar.
