Wow. I wonder what the catch is? I need to look at that again. I can't afford it, just curious though.

It was a 2004 4x4 Tacoma 3.4 V6 with 12,000 miles with a "buy it now" option of $12,000. Supposely in perfect condtion, loaded with everything. Had to have been a scam. Here is another one, only a 4runner this time: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Oh they just removed it too. It was a 2003 4 runner V8, loaded with only 13,000 miles, in new condition, with a "buy it now" option of $12,000. Both listed no location for the vehicle but free shipping in the US with "buy it now" option. Payment had to be money order or cashers check or cash in person. This one had 100% positive feedback score of 74.

Wow, is there a way to protect yourself from that? How did you find out about it?

yea dont ever respond to any ebay email that tell you to change your password. They can get all your information like that. They got my brothers credit card number and someone was using it overseas unlucky the bank found it supicous so it wouldnt go though. But other than that I have had no problem with ebay I think its great.
