OK... here is a test muff I just put on. Ever here of it?

Anyone hear of jones exhaust? The shop I went to for my acura allowed me to try a Jones thunder Jet muffler 2.5 in/out. He carrys the 24" magnaflow I was going to get but pushed this one on me first. One point he used was this muff has little prongs that stick up at an angle and act as a resonator so the gases don't suck back in. He said this stops the "pop" that some flow through muffs get when you back off the throttle. The site is jonesexhaust.com . The muffler is all tig welded and appears very high quality. Supposedly all hand welded.
So... I have to say it goes sound deep at idle. My wife was like" what did YOU do to your truck? It sounds like a mustang with flowmasters.(mustangs with flows were big in the day, around here!). I said, sweety... not quite but it is louder. Still up in the air about the sound and I have only driven it 5 miles so far. Anyone here of this muffler? If I don't like it I can switch to the 24"magna I wanted. I think he was being nice because the #$%^&!money I just gave him to fix my damn acura! I wish there was another 3.4 with a performance muff in the area to compare but at least I can try this one. He did say my factory muff and hangers were very beat and rusted. The stock muff was split and a hanger near the cat was gone. Know the exhaust tpoic is beat but I figured I would post due to this apparently rare muff on the forum. Anyone from adamsville, Tenn ? Thats where Jones is from.
