Oil light Trouble

Everyonce in a while when I come to a stop the oil light starts to flicker, ill put in nutural and it goes off put it back in drive and it flickers again, when I start moving it goes off. Its the 3.4 and the oil is full. Could the sensor be bad or is the oil pump haveing problems. Oh and where is the plug for the ODBII sensor. 96runner.

the oil light flickering would possibly indicate a low oil pressure problem, how many miles are on it, and what weight of oil do you run? the OBDII plug should be to the right side of the steering column right behind the kick panel, feel around you will find it, the sensor for the oil pressure is just a on/off switch, it could be defective, the only way to find out would be to hook up a gauge to the engine and see what its actually doing for pressure
