Hey,
I have a 99' SR5 with 145K miles and I run an Oversized Mobil 1 Filter
M1-209. w/ mobil 1 synthetic oil. I change the filter at 5K to 7K intervals
BTW: SSHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Don't tell ANYONE!......AND if you do tell someone about the "M1-209" .....trust me, I'll know
over and out

I use fram oil filter for 5 years now..Zero problem. i use it on my old honda CRX for 4 years. and 1 year on my 4runner. i do oil change and oil filter every 3000kms(around 2000miles). i know it is overkill but i take care of it! thats from my own experience with fram. if you dont like fram, just dont use it.

cuz it was runnin like a clock, no problems oncesoever. and it was a 02 4runner. he was just doing a routine oil change. why he suddenly decided to use a fram, i dont know. all i know is i do not trust fram period, and from the one time i put a fram on mine, cuz i was going cheap, (penzoil 10w-30 high mileage formula and fram filter) the engine started knocking really hard and stuff. checked the oil, and it was low. (mind you this was 5 hours after i did the oil change). i had my mechanic in san diego pull the valve cover, and all the valves were fine, but he said there was no oil. so i figure what the hell... took the fram off, took it back, and got a castie, or however you spell it, and it stopped. never again will i run a fram. oh, and the oilpan was full
