OD not engaging???

Hi guys, I did a search and really didn’t come up with anything. The OD in my truck waits for several miles before it drops in for the first time is this temperature issue or do I have a valve problem? I recently did a full 17Q fluid flush and filter change so that should be fine. It’s always taken a while to drop in, just seems like its taking longer. Luckily I live on back roads so I can keep under 50 so my RPS under 3k, I don’t really like running my 3.0 hard. I haven’t put to many miles on my truck lately "freaking gas prices --"THANKS AGAIN GW 04.. ..a$$hole.. ..."...Sorry, had to get that off my chest....so I’m not sure if something is sticking or if its in my head! Anyway haven’t checked in in a while, let me know what you all think.. I need to get my new bed installed too, it’s sitting at my house on my trailer waiting!

Sometimes it takes a while to shift into OD. The tranny has to warm up first.
