O2 sensor question

O2 sensor question
Can anyone tell me what needs to be done what my diagnosis reader told me my dogged acceleration and check engine light was fueled by a malfunction in my "O2 sensor heater circuit". I've already replaced my O2 sensors, but they were the universal variety, so I used the old plugs and just rewired them. Is this code telling me the plugs are bad? Maybe some kind of fuse? I'm electrically challenged when it comes to this stuff, so any ideas would be of great assistance. Thanks!!

Are you sure they are wired right?
I usually use OEM sensors to avoid any headaches like that.
Could be a faulty sensor too (despite being changed).
What was the code # exactly?

What model/year do you have? With most any toyota, I'd stick with stock replacement parts. Especially if its a 99+, the front O2 sensor definitely cannot be replaced w/ a aftermarket.
The ones you replaced with, were they three-wire univ. or 2?
