Not Happy about the 99 coils I installed (question)
It's been about two weeks since I installed the coils so they've settled and the rear sits lower than the front. At first I thought it was just my eyes deceiving me so I decided to measure today. The rear is 1.5 inches lower than the front. Ive been looking at alot of 4runners to see if the height in the front is equal to the rear but if anything the rear is suppose to sit slightly higher. I removed my subs which only weigh about 50 lbs and no change. I'm mad that they sold them to me like that. Is there anyone out there who makes a low price rear spacer lift.

I bought them from a member on here
964Runner
He told me that the rear actually sat higher on his 4runner prior to removal, which i guess he lied
I was really happy with the front which I got about 1.5 inches but the rear sits the same as with my 97 coils. Im sure if they were brand new it wouldnt matter. The problem is I dont want to pay $90 to fix mine.

uh, dont jump to conclusions so quickly. calling someone a liar, especially someone like 96 who has a LOT of history and helpfulness on this forum is well...not good for your reputation.
first off, have you contacted christian directly and had a chance to talk with him about this? if not, you should.
second, are you sure you installed the front coils correctly? and the rear coils? some people have been known to not seat the front coils properly, giving the front end a higher stance.
anyways, thats my 2 cents

The rear coils as Jaime said have not been good for any runner. I've talked to plenty people about this and consensus is they're just too soft and will eventually sag. Others w/ Downey's have said the same.
You can go for the LC coils, which should give you 3" of lift. If you have 2 1/2 up front, then you'll have a slight rake. I bought a set but didn't put them in b/c I moved into a new apartment and the parking is underground. I can barely get in as it sits now and wouldn't risk too much lift in the rear.
I think my stock springs are sagging as I'm lower in the rear about the same amount as you. It's not always noticeable but when I measured, I came up w/ 36 1/2" from the wheel well to the floor in the rear but 38" up front. I ended up buying OME 891's, which I'm hoping will level me out. If not, I'll crank my SAWs down to get the rake I'm looking for.
Good luck.

I would imagine that 1999 coils from a guy called 964Runner would be from a 96, which were the worst. They dumped those in 97 and then again in 98 and then again in 99 and when back to the 98 coils in 2000-2002.
There are also two very different 99 rear coils. 2WD and 4WD, the 2wd 99 coils are the same as the 96-98 4WD and the 2000 (Some) and 2001-2002 (All) rear 4WD coils.
The bottom line is that if you want the right stock coils, but them new from the dealer with a part number. Most people have no clue what they have or the exact model they came from.

Hockey pucks are for a body lift. They won't work as spacers as they are too small to fit in the rear coil buckets.
The reason the 99 is the highest is that they probably overestimated the extra weight up front for the added crush zone and had to level the rear.
Then in 1999 the SUV roll over hype hit and mid 2000 they yanked the truck down lower.
