noob headlight question

Ok guys, I have my flame suit on so you cant me.

Whats the difference b/w 9003 and h4? they look exactly the same? maybe a size difference or extra filament ?

now that you bring this up i too am interested, my guess is that they would be the same, i know h7's are often refured to as something else

9003 and H4 are the exact same thing, just different names.

H7 are single filament bulbs.

ahhh ok. I just bought a pair of the GE night hawks b/c daniel stern said they were the best compared to the Silverstars and etc.

Those bulbs are awesome, I'm running the Philips Vision Plus and they are comparable to the GEs. I had the Osram Silverstars before the Philips and they were pretty good at making the light reach down the road more, but weren't all that bright.

yea, i have the vision plus right now. One of mine burned out though.

I have the NightHawks aswell love them! I still want the wiring harness to match the voltage, they will be replaced by, once I find them a pair of 65/100's or something close to it..

Have you tried looking at the 4crawler H4 Wiring Harness?

9003 and H4 are virtually the same bulb, but I think the H4 bulbs are made to a different spec than the 9003.

Yes, I have seen the 4crawler harness. Very nice, waiting for my IRS refund to hit the account... So I can spend it!!
