Newly lifted black 3rd gen!! 56k be slightly warned
I installed a lift yesterday, it took a while and we ran into some problems, but we got it mostly done.
Front: toytec adjustable coilovers with 650lb rate springs
Rear: OME 891's, bilstein 5125s and extended brake lines
The front went in actually pretty easy and i need to lower the threads on the coils to get a little less lift and better cv angles. The problems we ran into were with the rear lift, I was trying to use some friends used bilstein 5150's but there wasnt enough space to fit them in so I ordered some 5125's to go under it, and we didn't find this out until after we ruined the original shocks to get them out. So I had to run to the parts store and currently I am running som Gabriel G-Force shocks, just as bad as monroe. Also when doing the rear brake line extention we broke the hard line, and that just plain sucked balls. We got it fixed though and the brakes are working good. I am going to be finishing the lift up friday with the bilstein 5125's once they get int.

I think i broke one of the crappy shocks flexing, but hey that means i get to return it under warrenty

Awesome! Bonus points for breaking the crappy rear shock! 
I would love to do a slight lift on the Taco at some point.
Off Topic: Is it any different to do the rear lift on Taco's because of the leaf springs?

Is it any harder, or just different? I know the stock Bilsteins on my truck will need to be replaced in the near future, I might as well lift it a bit. But I want to stay as close to stock as possible, nothing crazy.

Little over 3" in the rear, and a little below 3" in the front. I am going to crank the coilovers down a tad so i can get better angles and have a more raked look.
just a solid axle, roll cage, crawler box, and 37"s away. so not too far off. can hang better with him now with a little bit of lift
Its kind of like his 4runners little brother, its got his old locker, he made the sliders and the bumper.

Where are you guys located in Knoxville? I am near Cedar Bluff (work in Oak Ridge) and haven't seen your Runners driving around. Nice work...love the front bumper, lift is just the right height too!

I am in cleveland rigtht now, but next week moving back to utk's campus.
thanks everyone, i cranked down the front a little bit today, but i found out i have a leaky cv boot. looks like the manual hubs i am picking up on sunday might help a bit.

Can I just say...its about damn time!!! 
Looks great man, really brings everything else to life on the rig! A great compliment for sure.
The CV angles don't look too awful. The skid might be covering it up but do you have a diff drop installed on that beast yet? That would definitely help the angles although if you are going to manual, it shouldn't be an issue any more then.
From that side shot, it almost looks like the rear is a little lower but maybe just the angle of the pic is off. Either that or those gabriele's allow for too much sag, the bils would clear that up.
Hows the ride? Looks like you dropped the panhard bar in the rear...did that enable you to just slide the new and old coils in? I had to use a compressor on mine but I figure now that I should have disconnected that to help bring the axle down farther.
Again, looks great man. I'm digging that snorkel...that may be a next investment for mine. Do us all a favor though and get some more pics up!!

No diff drop, but picking up manual hubs on sunday, and those will be getting put on later in the summer, or early fall. I need more money. The ride is differnet than stock, its smoother, but in the rear i think the shocks and the panhard are holding back a little bit. I am going to be making a new panhard later.
I have adjusted the fronts to sit as little lower, but I am not gonna finally dial it in until we get the right shocks in. The crappy rears are definetly holding me back. Yeah we disconnected the panhard, it made it installing the rear easier with alot more room, but it was work to get it back on. we had to put it on jacks to get the body weight on the axle to push it down.
I do need to get some more pics up.
