Newly Lifted!

Well after much research and consideration, I did it!

I lifted the 4runner. I used the ever popular OME 891's with N86's on the rear, and the, not so popular, Daystar 2.5" Poly spacers in the front with a revtek diff drop kit and poly bumpstops.

The installation took me about 6 hrs by myself in my driveway with handtools. I didn't think that was too bad.

I got about 2.25" in the front and 3" in the rear. I am happy with the results. Someday I will do the SAW's up front, but other mods must come first.

Check out some Lift Pictures

Sweet! Good deal. Silver Highlanders have a very high cool factor, especially when they're lifted.

Maybe we will invite you to our jam after all!

And I take it the wife is camera shy?

Thanks man!

Yah the wife is camera shy and wheelin' shy, hence she wouldn't let me continue up those steps. I'll go back without her

The daughter isn't camera shy or wheelin' shy, she actually likes to drive she's only 2

I can't wait til CO4RJ!

The front Daystar spacers are actually pretty clever, they split the load 1/2 in the pack and 1/2 out of the pack. Versus: Cornbred 100% in the pack and Revtek 80% in the pack and 20% out of the pack. Downey, All-Pro 100% out of the pack. The Daystar 50/50 should be nice......... for a spacer.

Oh by the way. If anyone is unhappy with ATS or thinks they were a "lame" or "cheesey" company. You should remove the arms and sell them. I have a long list of folks that would love to have them, I'm sure you could even make a profit, maybe actually buy a locker or something actually worth while. They are not required for mud boggin anyway.

Very nice!

Dang, you have the exact 4Runner I have always wanted. That is the best color in my opinion. Sweet ride!

What's the advantage of poly bumpstops? Are they a lower profile than the original?

Chit Rod - Wheeler's

96 Runner - Thanks Man

Beachtaco - Thanks!

Loosehead - I was down past Sandia Labs on South Eubank, people call it "the ditch". It's like a wheelin' park. There are a lot of hill climbs and when it rains, mud. It's pretty fun.

Mad Chemist - Poly bump stops are softer than OEM they are also lower, I have yet to extend all the way though. Look at SSchaefer3's write up

Well I have to say thank you to all who post on Yotatech, I have learned a lot here. Oh yah...I caught yotatechitis too.
